What's the Nancy boys excuse ? They put it out that they had 20 players out with covid before our league cup match . Total shite yet I've seen Norwich called out for far less . Happy new year to everyone on who .

Excellent idea, eastend. That means the Premier League are unlikely to implement it, if it's a good idea.

Have injury depleted Newcastle actually said which of their players are out with covid?

Quite a few clubs have made a mockery of this covid rule, last season, and this.

Re: PL to Close it's doors, again?
teams who ask for games to be postponed because of covid should be banned from playing newly registered players signed after the date of the original game .

Who from the premiership authorities are checking on player availability, the clubs were told to use under 21/23 players to keep games on but I don’t think I can recall any playing yet.

I will be gutted if our game with Leeds is cancelled, got tickets and hoping to make a weekend of it, with hotel and train fares booked!!

Twokeftfeet

Saint Maxim got injured against Man U and since then they have claimed they can’t put a squad out..

Bit convenient that.

Teams are using this to their advantage. Hopefully comes back to bite them on the ass.

Both my boys have covid, nothing worse than a very heavy cold or mild flu.

I see Newcastle have had another game postponed, crafty fuckers.

I think its quite clear now that this Omnicron is nothing more than a medium common cold. Time to move the fuck on.

Canvey - Agreed, surely the country has moved on from the closed doors nonsense now, to go back to that would be totally fucking awful and I don't think it will happen. There is more likelihood of all games being postponed than that happening, and I don't think that they will happen either. Simon.s needs to cheer up a little.

Re: PL to Close it's doors, again?
No reason to put games behind closed doors. It won’t stop players from catching covid.

This variant is much more contagious but also much weaker.

I bet most players would not even know they have it without a test.

Just test players with symptoms.

Need to change tack now as this is getting ridiculous.

You sense it may be coming.

It’s why I’m holding off getting a Leeds ticket just yet…..

Adding injuries and virus cases together means more games will be called off. Injuries are part of the game and reserves/youth players can/should be used.

It needs to be at least 97% to be effective chap ;)

That's right Leeshere, because "the government" frequently phone hotel owners to inform them of changes in the law before they're voted on in Parliament.
